Day Three of Spring Break was the designated day of the big battle. Weeks in planning, D recruited boys (and one girl) from all over to battle it out in our wooded yard full of forts. Safety Monitor C set up his office in the garage so that he could insure proper eye gear, monitor snacks and lunch and get a bit of work done besides.
While the battle raged, the teens (plus A- & I) made our escape and drove up to Atlanta for a day of trying to update the wardrobes. We found a thrift store targeting teens which to their dismay had some fun buys. I taught them patience at Goodwill and then we made our yearly dive into the world of the mall.
It was a successful day all around - happy boys, happy teens ...
